Free Online 3MF Viewer

3MF is the project format modern slicers save: the models, where they sit on the plate and which filament each part uses, all in one zip. Open a .3mf here to see what is inside before you download a slicer or start a print. Files saved by Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer and Cura are supported.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Open the 3MF

Drop the .3mf on the viewer or click to browse. Project files and plain 3MF models both work.

  2. 2

    Pick a plate

Multi-plate projects list every plate. Choose one, or show all of them at once.

  3. 3

    Check the parts

Each object is listed with its size in millimetres and the filament slot it is assigned to, drawn in that colour.

  4. 4

    Save if you need to

Download the visible plate as one STL, or every object as its own STL in a ZIP.

What to know before you convert

  • This is a preview, not a slicer. Print settings, supports, layer height and G-code inside the project are not shown or changed.
  • Colours come from the object or part filament slot. Colour painted onto single triangles (multi-material painting) is not shown; those parts use their base filament colour.
  • Modifier volumes, support blockers and enforcers, and negative volumes are hidden, because they are not printed.
  • Textured 3MF and beam lattice extensions are not drawn. The mesh, build plate layout and units are read from the core 3MF format.
  • The file stays in your browser. 100 MB is the upper limit.

Don't have a model?

Generate one from a sketch, image or text. Our AI generators give you a 3D model with an STL download for printing. They use credits; this converter does not.

Frequently Asked Questions

Drop it on the viewer above. It unzips the project in your browser, reads the models and the plate layout, and draws them. Nothing is uploaded.
Yes. Those projects keep each object in its own file inside the zip and store plates and filament assignments in a settings file. The viewer reads both, so you see the same plates and the same filament slots. PrusaSlicer projects with several volumes per object are also split by volume.
When the project stores filament colours, the viewer uses them. Some files only store slot numbers, and then the viewer falls back to a fixed colour per slot. Colour painted onto the surface triangle by triangle is not shown.
3MF records its unit, so the viewer converts everything to millimetres. The size shown for each object is its bounding box after the placement and scale saved in the project.
Yes. The buttons under the viewer save the visible plate as one STL or each object as a separate STL. The 3MF to STL converter adds scale and axis options.
No. The page reads the file and converts it inside your browser with the open-source three.js library. Nothing is sent to our servers, there is no account, and no credits are used. Closing the tab discards everything.
