A GLB keeps everything in one file
- GLB is the one-file version of glTF: mesh, UVs, textures and PBR materials together. It is the usual format for the web, AR and many game engines.
- The studio keeps your UVs by default and writes the new texture back into a GLB, in the same size and units as your upload.
- Press "Make PBR maps" to add normal, roughness, metal and AO maps, and the GLB download carries them.
- Only want to swap, resize or tint the textures already in a GLB by hand? Use the GLB texture editor instead.
How to texture a GLB file with AI
- 1
Upload your GLB
Drop a .glb or .gltf (up to 60 MB). Your UVs are kept by default.
- 2
Describe the look
Write the texture you want, or pick a style or a prompt idea.
- 3
Paint with AI
Auto paints 4, 6 or 8 views; brush one part to repaint only that part.
- 4
Add PBR maps
Make normal, roughness, metal and AO maps for free, and heal any seams.
- 5
Download
Save a textured GLB with its maps, or the texture PNGs.

Yes. The downloaded GLB has the same mesh, size and units as your upload; only the texture changes.
Yes. Upload a .gltf the same way. The download is a single GLB file.

Each AI view costs 2 credits, and an Auto texture paints 4 views for 8 credits (6 or 8 views for hidden areas cost 12 or 16). New accounts get free credits to start. The Heal and Paint brushes and the PBR maps are free.
