Multi-View to 3D: Turn 2-4 Photos of One Object into a 3D Model

A single photo leaves the AI guessing what the back looks like. Give it the front plus one to three more sides of the same object and it builds one model that matches what you actually photographed. You get a textured GLB and an STL for 3D printing.

How to turn several photos into one 3D model

  1. 1

    Photograph the object

Take a front photo, then walk around it for the side and back. Keep the same distance and height for each shot.

  2. 2

    Same light, plain background

Shoot every photo in the same light, against a plain wall or sheet, with the whole object in frame and nothing in front of it.

  3. 3

    Upload 2-4 views

Put each photo in its slot: Front is required, Side, Back and Other are optional. Two photos is the minimum.

  4. 4

    Generate and download

Press Generate (20 credits). Most models are ready in a few minutes. Rotate it in the viewer, then download GLB or STL.

Tips for better results

  • Use photos of one object only. Mixing two different objects gives a blend of both.
  • Avoid strong shadows, reflections and busy backgrounds. Daylight from a window or an overcast day works well.
  • Fill most of the frame with the object, and keep it sharp in every photo.
  • Matte objects reconstruct best. Glass, mirrors and very shiny metal are hard for any 3D AI.

Frequently Asked Questions

From one photo the AI has to invent every side it cannot see. Extra views of the same object show it the real side and back, so the shape and texture of the model follow your object more closely.
Front is required. Add a side and a back view if you can, and an extra angle such as the top or a three-quarter view. Take them all in the same light, on a plain background, at the same distance.
Each model costs 20 credits, the same as Image to 3D, whether you upload 2, 3 or 4 photos. Most models are ready in a few minutes. If a generation fails, the credits are returned.
Yes. Download the STL, set the size in mm in your slicer and print. The GLB download keeps the colors and texture for viewing, games and AR.
